Who runs this

Coming Up Roses Bookkeeping and Notary is operated by Levee Rose. Levee is a licensed bookkeeper and a mobile notary. Levee is not a CPA, an enrolled agent, an attorney, or a financial advisor, and nothing inside this tool is tax, legal, or investment advice. When a question goes past where bookkeeping should go, Levee will tell you and refer you to the right specialist.

What you are agreeing to by using the site

By visiting the site or sending a note through the contact form, you agree to these terms and to the privacy page. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You agree to give us truthful information on the contact form. You agree not to abuse the form to send unsolicited marketing, harassment, or content that targets another person.

What the software does, and does not do

The software in this site is a working tool that Levee uses to keep your books. It shows progress, holds standing rules you confirm together, drafts messages you can copy and send yourself, and gives you a portal to see where your books are. It does not file taxes for you. It does not send money for you. It does not place trades or move funds. It does not act as a fiduciary.

The in-app assistant is a small rule engine. It writes drafts; it does not send. When you tap the “Copy draft” button, the draft is placed in your clipboard so you can paste it into an email or text and send it yourself. We never send messages to your clients without your direct action.

Your account

You log in by clicking a magic link sent to your email. Anyone with access to that email can sign in as you, so guard your email like you guard a key. Tell us right away if you suspect someone else got into your inbox and reached the app.

You can close your account at any time by writing to hello@cominguproses.biz. We will return your records and delete what is not legally required to keep.

Your records belong to you

The books we keep for you are yours. The data in your account is yours. We hold it for you and work it for you, and at any time you can ask for a copy of it back. Closing your account or ending the engagement does not change that.

What we charge

The price of bookkeeping and notary services is agreed in a separate engagement letter before work begins. The site itself is free to visit, free to send a note through, and free for clients to use as part of an active engagement. There is no surprise paywall inside the app.

Notary scope

Mobile notary services are performed by Levee in person, in New York State, under New York's notary law. Notarizations require valid identification, the signer's physical presence, and the signer's willingness. We do not notarize anything we have reason to believe is fraudulent, coerced, or outside what New York permits a notary to do.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and online; we do not guarantee it will never go down or never have a bug. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of the site. Nothing in this section limits liability for things the law does not let us limit, like gross negligence or willful misconduct.

If we disagree

If we end up in a real disagreement that we cannot resolve by writing to each other, the dispute is governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any court action is filed in the state or federal courts of New York, St. Lawrence County or the Northern District of New York. We both agree to that. We both also agree to try a conversation first.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we will update the “last updated” date at the top, and for material changes we will email signed-in users before the new version takes effect.
